UNLEASH Talent: Bringing Out the Best in Yourself and the Learners You Serve

It’s Happening!

One of my dreams since I was a little girl was to write a book. . . and I am absolutely flooded with happiness to share it is coming to fruition! It feels surreal to officially show you, for the FIRST time, my book cover for my book, #UnleashTalent which will be released in a couple of weeks. Look out for the book to be released this July 2nd or July 3rd on Amazon and Barnes and Noble!

To begin, I am in awe of this cover! I believe this cover truly represents the art of unleashing your talent into the world. I am unbelievably happy with how much this cover and book represents who I am.

Unleash Talent- The Book

As many of you know from being avid readers of my blog over the years, my mission in life and in my work is to bring out the best in others.

I believe that each of us has a multitude of gifts and talents to offer one another, our schools, our students, our communities, our families, and to the world! When we put our people and ourselves first, while creating outlets to showcase who we are, we become fulfilled individuals who are able to live our best life, while in turn, giving back to others.

The truth is, we all have many untapped talents left to discover. Within the book, I redefine talent in a way you have never seen before. To add to this, while reading the book you will get a clear sense of how to find and unleash your talent and to do the same for colleagues and students so we can create a collaborative and meaningful school culture where people’s strengths are the focal point.

I love educators and staff members and believe they are the foundation of our school. Without them, we would not be able to serve our students in the way we do. This book is for staff members, teachers, future teachers, secretaries, special education teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, leaders, central office members, and anyone who is looking to discover more about who they are and how they can make an even greater impact in your life and the lives of others.

I believe the specific examples, ideas, strategies, and information, paired with the stories of what other incredible educators, staff members, and leaders, and myself are doing within this work will do more than inspire you. It will remind you of your mission and what makes you, “you.”

When I wrote Unleash Talent, I wanted someone to be able to pick this book up and read it individually or/and with a group of people. Therefore, I embedded purposeful journalling within each chapter which will give you the space to reflect on your learning (I am an avid believer in the art of journalling).

But . . . I also wanted to include discussion questions that will help take this learning to another level if you are reading this as a book club, with other teachers, with your school, and beyond!
